There was no fridge, the aircon didnt work properly and the bathroom had no shower curtain so the floor was soaked every time you took a shower. I thouht this was disappointing for a hotel in this price range. .
Basement, very small bedroom, soft mattress and pillows, tiny showerromm/toilet, dangerous staircase to basement, no room wifi
Position; handy for West End; quiet at night; close to many eateries. Room was clean and fittings and furnishings new.
Bed small and uncomfortable. Room not arranged well, eg tiny space between end of bed and wall mounted tv meant it was difficult to move to other side of bed. Why towel rail so high - I'm 5'3" and couldn't reach it! No proper shelf at sink for toothpaste etc. Price of breakfast was excessive, meant we had to breakfast in cafes (at a third of the price!). Being charged for a film and wine on leaving was offputting as we hadn't had these things.
I was pleasently surprised to find a street full of good and affordable restaurants/bars & shops within a short walking distance of the hotel.
I was a little put off by some peeling wallpaper hiding some very crumbling plaster underneath.
Clean comfortable rooms, easy hassle free booking and check-in, central location. We got upgraded for free to a suite room so, while the room was far, far from big, there was a little more space than I had been expecting. Very good value.
When I called the hotel before hand I was informed by staff that the only local parking available was a car park at paddington aat £25 per day. In fact, there was pay per phone parking outside the hotel which was free on Sunday and after 13.30 Sat, so cost very little - glad I didn't go with the hotel staff advice.
Facilities in the room is excellent.
No Wi-Fi signal even in the reception area as promised. Sometimes the hot water doesn't work...bad for winter time!
Tidy and clean room.
Water pressure in bathroom is very very poor. Water cold and it would take an hour to run a bath.
Location - close to Paddington Station for direct access to airport and very convienient to Hyde Park and tube stations
Tv was very unresponsive to the remote control - we were not there to watch TV so was not a major drama but when we wanted to watch the news it was very frustrating trying to access channels
The staff were excellent and very helpful and the hotel was clean and tidy
We asked for two rooms next to each other one was on the 4th floor and was was in a separate part which wasnot accessible by lift this was very disappointing. The weeknd was a present for my friend it was disappointing and not value for money. My bathroom was too small and the tolilet area was so cramped I couldnt even sit properly on the tolilet seat very diappointing for the money it cost.
Location was very good, close by to the central line.Found the porters helpful with our luggage.
At arrival we were given a room that was flooded, a new room was arranged which was the room above also flooded, water on floor, walls the smell and humidity was terrible. The manager arrives and apologize and says that he will give us a new and better room. This room is at main hotel across the road[where you check in on arrival].The room was very small and the layout was terrible. In order to get to the wardrobe you had to drag your luggage across the bed as it was only a few centimeters of space between the end of the bed and the wall.In the bathroom everything was hanging loose from the walls.Breakfast very overpriced at 15pounds.I and my teenaged daugther will not stay here again.
The things me and my partner like about the hotel is the tv, the size of the bed and its cleanliness. The hotel staff were great too, they were very helpful and responsive. Suitable for light travelers and the location is fantastic.
As usual, like most comments about this hotel, the size of the room is too small. My partner did not like it and asked for another room. The staff brought him to view it, and it was like only 1ft bigger. We stayed in the initial room anyway. The toilet was small too, the toilet door was funny. But however, together, the room and the toilet were very clean. We were looking for some refrigerator, but we couldn't find it. Luckily it was cold outside, so we put all the stuff in a bag and put it outside the window. We even couldnt open the closet door fully, due to a bedside table right opposite. Luckily we didnt have any huge luggages, which was good. I didnt really mind about the size, but the price for what we paid was a lil bit too high.
the size of the shower stall -- incredibly small!!
Very close to Paddington train station. Hotel staff were very helpful and the breakfast was quite decent for the price.
Photos uploaded on the website does not convey any real information on the dimensions of the room. I can't even imagine how the single room will be with the kind of experience I had with my double room.
Had no problems with the room, it was fune.
Hotel was fine, breakfast was quite expensive - £15 pp. Prad Street, which is just a few mins walk from the Hotel (towards Paddington Tube) had lots of cafe's to get breakfast for £2.99 pp
i actually booked the double room, but i was promoted for a twin room, i would struggel staying there with the double room bcz its very very very small and tight
